She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree from the University of Ghana and her Masters Degree (LL.M.) in Law from Harvard Law School. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana, having obtained a Certificate to Practice Law from the Ghana School of Law. In the last eleven years she has worked with the Legal Resources Centre (LRC), a human rights and development NGO based in Ghana.
She is the Executive Director of the LRC. She leads management to provide direction, leadership and management expertise for shaping and operationalising all aspects of work of the LRC. She also provides direction, leadership and management expertise for shaping and operationalising the two Programmes of the LRC: Human Rights Cities and Research, Advocacy and Advisory Services.
In previous years, she has worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Ghana Business School assisting lecturers to design and teach courses on Commercial Law, Company Law, Business Law, Labour Law, and Administrative Law.
